We have been so busy for the last year. There is so much to say. To start, we had the greatest time at the Utah-TCU game last night. Tom, Lauren, and I went. Grandma Elaine stayed home with the Bean. It was an excellent game. We all ran down to the field when it was over.
Tom is still busy trying to keep Sentrx going. In addition, he is helping out at the Swanson Family Foundation, which is in Farr West. So close to the house, which is still on the Market. Every day we say we are going to move back. Maybe we will. For now we are renting a house on 1409 Bryan Ave. It has been nice to be back in the "hood". It is a great old house. We love it, except for the cat issues. Ask Tom for more info if interested.
The Bean is growing every day. He is still doing the army crawl, eating lots of food, still nursing, loves to dance, take a bath, play with dad and watch football, hang with the dogs, pretty much anything. He is a very happy baby. We all love him.
Lauren is busy with school, social life, college plans. She is in Dance company at West and still with CDT. She is senior photo editor for the yearbook and very busy with homework and volunteer work. She had a great trip to Africa this summer.
Andrew is now named "Stretch". He grows daily. He has been playing on the Impact U14 comp team. He has become so talented as a soccer player and is an exceptional young man. He has grandpa's dry sense of humor. He is a great big brother, and manages to Tolerate his little brother, Finn. He is involved in his ward/scouting and has finished his eagle scout project. He collected supplies for Lauren's service group to take to Africa. We are so proud of him.
Finn get smarter each day. He loves to read and loves his computer games. He is a great big brother to Bubba, and told me that he is the teacher's pet this year. He is so smart. He swam on the Hurricane's swim team this summer. It was such a great experience for him. He worked very hard and learned a lot. Finn is a great swimmer. Also, he played baseball and soccer. He loves to ride his bike.
I am still taking classes at Weber. Someday I will finish. I'm so happy to have such a great family. We recently loss our sweet grandma, Minnie. It was very hard to loose her, but she lived to be 95. She was such a big part of all of our lives. We love you grandma.
There is so much to catch up on, and I will do my best to do so.
